The Short Version

I'm a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and IFRS-certified finance leader, currently with Dubai Holding, where I work across strategic finance, FP&A and commercial finance for a diversified, multi-vertical group in the UAE.

Over 10+ years I've built a career on the fundamentals — rigorous planning, reporting and commercial judgment — and I'm now bringing data analytics, applied AI and automation into that toolkit — using them to take routine work off people's plates and sharpen forecasting, reporting and decision-making, rather than replace the judgment that got me here.

How I Work

My approach to work

I start from the decision, not the tool: what does the business need to decide, and what stands between the people deciding and the numbers they trust? From there I map the process, automate the safe, repeatable part with plain workflows, and bring in AI only where it earns its place — reading documents, drafting commentary, forecasting — always with a human reviewer and an audit trail.

I enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, iterating in small steps, and keeping finance, operations and technology speaking the same language.

A concept for AI-assisted variance review.

Illustrative concept — not a client deliverable

The problem. The monthly variance review is where finance teams spend hours: pulling the numbers, working out the "why", chasing owners for commentary. It's repeatable work that still needs real judgment at the end.

The idea. Let AI write a first draft of the commentary from the numbers, and let a reviewer approve, edit or flag each line — so people spend their time on the lines that matter.

Controls first. Every draft shows its source figures, nothing is released without a named approver, and every action is logged — so it holds up to audit and nobody is asked to trust a black box.

Prioritize what's used every month. Variances above threshold, owner follow-ups and the sign-off trail come first. Everything else can wait.
